Mark Coffey called as the new President of the Dublin Ireland Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mark Coffey has been called as the new President of the Dublin Ireland Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Michael Holton has been called as his first counsellor and Rafii Haji has been called as his second counsellor. The new presidency was called and set apart by Elder Paul V. Johnson (Europe Area President) who was assisted by Elder Tom-Atle Herland (Area Seventy)

 

President Coffey is married to Suzanne Coffey (nee Keogh) for 23 years. They are the parents of three children Amy (21), Sarah (17) and Jake (11). President Coffey currently works as an IT Manager in Dublin. He served as a full-time missionary in the Canada Winnipeg mission from 1991 – 1993 and has previously served in many Church leadership roles including Bishop of the Clondalkin Ward and most recently as first counsellor on the Stake Presidency.

President Coffey said that this weekend has been a very humbling and spiritual experience as we have seen the Lord’s hand at work through his servants. We are excited to continue to build upon the legacy that we have inherited in a very strong Stake here in Dublin. We are looking forward to getting to know better and working with the great members that we have felt sustaining us through their words and prayers.

President Holton is married to Cherie May Holton (nee Jimenez) for 12 years. They are the parents of two children Michael (10) and Melissa (7).  He served as a full-time missionary in the Scotland Edinburgh mission from 1991 – 1993. President Holton served as the second counsellor in the recently released Stake Presidency.

President Haji is married to Emily Haji (nee Driscoll) for 6 years. They have one daughter Ailia (4), They are expecting their second child in May.  He served as a full-time missionary in the England London mission from 2000 – 2002. President Haji is currently the Bishop of the Clondalkin ward, he will be released from this position in the near future.
