Bishop O’Farrell has been a church member all of his life and works as an architect with local government. He served a two-year voluntary mission for the church in the Arcadia Californian Mission. He is married to Denise and they are the parents of one daughter aged 7

Bishop O’Farrell said that his main focus will be to help ward members increase their faith and build stronger unity as they minister to each other and to bring those living within the ward boundaries closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.
